Cremone Trip

Finally got out again on Friday morning chasing a few flatties.  Instead of going to my usual spots around South Arm we decided to launch from the beach at Cremone and head up towards Lauderdale.  We fished out from the new Lauderdale boat ramp for a few keepers and then decided to go for a cruise around looking for new spots.  Wherever we dropped a line in we managed to catch a few flatties with a good whiting bycatch.  At the end of the session we had 13 decent sized flathead and 9 whiting.  That will give us a couple of nice meals.  The beach at Cremone was full of boat trailers with at least 20 out and about.  It was a very nice morning on the water with an easy launch and retrieve and plenty of bites whilst fishing.
Cheers

Nice day out, Wazza: isn't it a great way to practice social isolation?

Pleased to hear you got a feed or two, and thanks for the post!

It would be great to hear from some others who are still managing to get out a bit.  The site has been rather quiet lately, and the more we are having to shut down and stay home, the more we would appreciate some contact from those of you who can get out.
