After a bit of a chat with JD, I got to thinking...... What places are on your fishing bucketlist? think1

Mine are, in no particular order.....

  • 1770, Qld
  • Steep Point, WA
  • Arno Bay, SA
  • Bermagui, NSW
  • Groote Eylandt, NT

I am sure there are others, but what would be your top 5?

In no order

Anywhere far North having a crack at the Barra.
Canada having a crack at the big boy Salmon.
Back to NZ chasing a trout or two.
SW coast of Tassie chasing Cray and anything else that I could get onto.
Love it out off little old Pirates bay.

Good thread chris, You should start one for you fish species bucket list too,

Here are a few of mine not in order,
Hokitika Trench offshore NZ for 300kg+ bluefin and awsome bottom fishing for hapuka massive striped trumpeter etc
Arno Bay for massive snapper, I want a 15kg plus one.
Cairns  for Grander marlin and big GT's
Fiji
Vanauatu
Exmouth
Panama/Cabo South America has some awsome fishing.

Well guys you pay the air flight, accomodation, charters etc and I will happily supply Pics!!!

Gunna stay close to home cause if I'm on holidays the wife will never let me go fishing laugh1

Roley Shoals for one - blue water paradise.
Jurassic Lake, Chile - massive rainbow trout!!!
Arthur River - whitebait feeding searun munters!!!
Montenegro - some crazy ar$e big trout/salmon looking thingies (will get a photo up)
NZ - helicopter in to some backwater river for fly fishing Eden

Montenegro - massive Huchen

no real order in this

but probley top of the list would be mexico  chasing 200lb plus yellow fin tuna

then maderia  chasing grander blues

 rowely shoals

3 kings nz

 and the home of modern game fishing kona just so i can say i have fished there
