browns river 17/07
« on: July 18, 2011, 05:31:16 pm »
Hi all, fished the browns river yesterday after a good session with otoshi and justin on saturday. I was at shippies for lunch and couldn't resist the temptation of the big fighting bream we caught the day before so headed down the outlet for a quick hours session. Arrived about 2.30pm to a slow incoming tide. I flicked some plastics for about 10 minutes with no touches so scrounged out some trusty muscles from around the shore. After an hour or so I landed 4 really good size bream. I was using 6lb braid with a 6lb leader, incoming tide, and no wind. I was fishing the northern shore about 80 metres from the bridge.  cool1

Hi Luke
I went and got some waders off Ted tonight. I still have no feeling in my left foot and my testicles have only just come out from hiding.

Hey luke nice report and  coolpics1

I must admit yours and Otoshi's reports lately have lifted my opinion of the river.  Certainly no shortage of good fish, i assume the fishing improves with the weather?

I still have no feeling in my left foot and my testicles have only just come out from hiding.

Your reports...... well they need work laugh1
Whens the next adventure?
