I am working my way through 20 years of pics and thought that as there is not a lot of activity on the site I would share some of them with you.
I know that I enjoy looking at other members pics and hope that mine may be of interest to some
The first pic is of a "Batch" in NZ. As far as I know these are small privately owned shacks erected on Govt land by fisherman near their favourite fishing spot. I don't know what permits are required or if any fees apply but what a great use of public land. Any member have details of how it works?
Next is another attempt to get a bird on the wing (Albatross) at Dunedin. what a majestic bird.
The sea was up on this day, looked awesome.
Another Albatross, may be a little out of focus. very hard to keep a 400mm lens right on to the subject, but fun trying.
You have to count your fingers after feeding a Swan. They are very aggressive.
This mob of Pelicans was herding small fish along the edge of Burrill Lake, they moved quite fast and constantly dipped their whole head and beaks under.
