G’day guys
just saw a post on facebook about another boat trailer having it’s wheel nuts loosened. What can we do about this? It’s getting a bit scary imagine if the wheel came off while you are at speed on the highway. I’ve had a wheel come off a couple of years ago ( dodgy bearings) fortunately it was on a very slow corner near lake plimsole. I’ve had nightmares since when I think about how I was doing the speed limit only minutes before and it could have come off and killed me or some other poor sod driving on the highway. To think of the carnage that could be caused by this intentional criminal behaviour is terrifying.
Please check and recheck your trailer and couplings before heading home.
