Good day at Tooms
« on: March 01, 2019, 06:09:05 pm »
We went to Tooms this week a beautiful day, like a lillypond, worth the 2 1/2 hr drive from the Huon.
Water is low,and a lot of weed.normaly we troll with rapalas but the weed was to much so we desided to use tassie devils with one hook in stead of rapalas who have 2 treble s 6 hooks,a lot less weed!
We were busted of twice but caught this nice one 55 cm.
Very healthy fish.
Fished the office hours 10 am till 3pm
Very happy,and a nice drive.

Haven't been to tooms for years, always used to produce a fish or two. That particular one looks in great condition. Well done. And thanks for the report.

Well done, that's a beautiful brown.. very glassy conditions there would certainly have been a top day trolling around the lake.

cheers
