Pirtek Fishing Challenge 2019

It's on again.. March 17 is the set date for the 2019 Pirtek Fishing Challenge, I just received the email & have paid mt entry fee, all money raised is for a good cause & there's some great prizes to be won if you're lucky enough to catch a decent fish..here's the home site, just click on "ENTER" at the bottom of screen.. https://pirtekfishingchallenge.com.au/coming-soon/

Crossed fingers its not Trout and Flathead again, though I bet it is.   I'd suggest those are the 2 species that get the best entries.

Trout are hard to come by this time of year except for this bloke ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I'm sure one will certainly be brown trout.. the others may be Bream, Flathead or Australian Salmon..

Tasmania has:     Salt water:  Australian Salmon.             Freshwater:  Brown or Rainbow Trout...

You're welcome Andrew, there's been a couple of years when the weather's been so poor & I never bothered to fish, but that's just the way it goes.. When I have gone fishing I've always had a trout to measure & send in hoping to pick up the mystery length... $2,000 would come in very handy.. agree1  This year was my smallest trout that I've sent in & at 34/25 cms I reckon I won't be any richer this time either.. grin1 grin1  What I also like about it is that it makes one all the more determined to catch a fish on the day.. gonefishing1
