Few Calamari
« on: November 19, 2018, 08:00:15 pm »
Had a weekend planned up at Orford with half a dozen mates who don't fish. They had advised would be up Saturday arvo so once id tidied up shack whipper snippered and stocked the fridge with grog thought I've got a couple hours free before they arrived so might duck out in the little ship and get a few calamari for entrée. First cast got a massive calamari and tried to lift it in by line and fell off  furious1  so got the net out before second cast (why I didn't do that in first place has me beat) got a nice little one second cast dropped a couple more and landed a couple more in next 45 mins or so thought 4 was enough for a entrée before tea so headed back in. Mates arrived and notice calamari all cleaned and tubed ready in fridge pretty happy lot as we settled in around camp fire with beers nibbles and lots of bullshit had bbq tea and about 11 pm someone says what happened to squid entree oops1  ohh well cryovaced it and a feed for family   grin1
