Gday,
Does anyone know how the Tamar River is fishing and what species are best to target at the moment?
I would be going in a little 4.2 m tinnie. Thinking of launching at Kelso.
TIA.

There can be some good salmon on the Kelso side maybe whiting the bay immediately up stream might hold a few flathead . If you launch at Clarence point you should be able to sneak up the shore to the back of garden island anchor in about 8-10 metres straight off the Ab farm outfall and put in some berley not a bad spot when the snotties are about . Fish one rod mid water for snotties and one on the bottom the berley will bring the flatties as well

Couple of rumours of kingfish being caught off the flats at Kelso in the last couple of days by guys chasing fatties.
