sorry bill only just saw your post. well i went today and apart from being cold and wet it was a beautiful flat calm day. There was a little wind chop on the way over but still managed to sit on 35kph comfortably the whole way. as far as the fishing was concerned i didnt have much luck a few parrot fish and that was it for the day but i will be back. it is a beautiful place over there and im sure there must be fish there somewhere also looks like it will be a nice place to do some overnighters through summer and beautiful crystal clear water to do some diving in but then i will be able to see the sharks coming at me  shark1 it was an even better trip home cracking a new top speed of 79kph but only for a little while. all up i travel 127km and used 91L fuel so i was pretty happy with that

Was a nice day alright. No wind is a bonus. Which way did you go once you got to East Telegraph beach? It is a magical place. Much like flinders island with the granite boulders etc.

Ok cool. Complete wrong time of year, but come summer time, youre in prime snapper and kingy territory  thumbsup1. Did you try of the beaches there? Normally some very good flathead and the ever reliable by-catch gummy.
