Yes thanks Proka , NNLAA is part of the Southern Tasmanian Licensed Anglers Association [STLAA] We have a rich history in the Derwent Vally spaning Many years Dateing back to the early part of last century . We are a family friendly club with monthly rostered comps that cater for three age groups . Seniors, Juniors and sub juniors who can all compete or fish as freinds for some great prizes and of course bragging rights .This year we have some new committee members with some exciting new ideas to keep this great pastime of ours interesting and accompaning for all ages .We are curently in the process of setting up our own clubhouse on the new norfolk esplanade were the kids can fish on the riverbank under the parents watchfull eye or play on the swings within earshot of our weighin or club proceedings . This year we intend on having our committee meetings directly after our rostered monthly comps and weigh ins at the clubhouse . This will allow all or any club members to watch ,listen and or raise concerns that they may or may not have . Of course we are always open to field and investigate any new ideas our club members are willing to raise with the committee in order to help our club Thrive for our members . We also have our own private junior angling pond that is regularly stocked by the IFS. This water can only be fished by new norfolk angling clubs JUNIOR members on rosterd days throughout the year . With a BBQ and drinks to keep there tummys happy And hopfully a real chance of landing a fantastic conditioned trout for the table or catch and release .
