Tried our luck Friday and Saturday. 5 minutes from the boat ramp we hooked our first jumbo to loose it after 15 minutes. Another step closer to landing one.
Awesome to see the reel peeling line off like we hooked another boat!

Well done for at least hooking one.  Great commiserations for dropping it!

Seems they must be quite close in, and not far from Pirates Bay?  (I assume that's where you launched, as the Fortescue Bay ramp is reputedly out of action at the moment, getting a fix-up)

Yer was out of pirates bay couldn’t believe it
Set the lures in the calm bay ( if you call 25 knot west calm) and trolled around the corner
